Guisamopa is a place in the municipality of Sahuaripa in the northeast of the Mexican state of Sonora . Guisamopa is 680 meters above sea level, 52 kilometers south of Sahuaripa .
history
Guisamopa was formerly inhabited by the Ópatas , Pimas and Yaquis . The name comes from the Ópata language and means stony place or house on stone . The place was founded in 1830.
