Guitavio is a northern German folk band.

It was founded in 1987 by Erk Böteführ and Hans-Peter Möller in Westerland on Sylt . The name is a trunk word of their original musical instruments: guitar and violin . Her musical style has seen many changes over time. The mixture of folk, pop, rock with soul is called "Acoustic Folk'n Soul".

Band members are Erk Böteführ ( acoustic guitar ), Ronald Kowalewski ( bass ), Hella Matzen-Lembcke ( accordion ), drummer Markus Zell and front woman Coretta von Behr. In the course of their band history, Guitavio has released seven CDs . These are currently being released on the Moon Sound Records label .
