Guldara (also Gūḏāra , Gudara or Gowdārah ) is a village and the center of the Guldara District, Kabul Province , Afghanistan. The village is located at an altitude of 1722 m , 45 km north of Kabul. The village was almost completely destroyed during the war in Afghanistan and is now continuing the rehabilitation process. A new clinic was opened. A local NGO , the Afghan Education and Rehabilitation Organization (AERO), operates this clinic, which provides family planning, child and general health services for the population of around 38,000 people.
