The list of museums in Aschaffenburg contains all eight municipal museums in the city of Aschaffenburg , as well as two other museums.

Christian Schad Museum Art by Christian Schad On the basis of a comprehensive estate, the Christian Schad Museum sheds light on the life and work of the artist Christian Schad, starting with the Dada movement and expressionism through to the experiments in art after 1945 (magical realism). The museum is under construction. It is located in the former Jesuit college on Pfaffengasse.
Jesuit Church Art Hall Art exhibitions From 1976 the former Jesuit church in Pfaffengasse, since 1990 sponsored by the city of Aschaffenburg, served as an exhibition center. The changing exhibitions focus on the art of classical modernism and the present.
Aschaffenburg Castle Museum City history Objects from the municipal collections (including European handicrafts, city history, sculptures from the Hans Junkers workshop) have been exhibited in Johannisburg Castle . In 2007 a selection of contemporary art from the region was added.

Aschaffenburg Abbey Museum History, art In 1934 the museum opened in the newly designed former Stiftskapitelhaus on Stiftsplatz under the name "Spessart Museum". The highlight is the medieval monastery treasure with the famous Magdalen Altar from the workshop of Lukas Cranach the Elder .

Schönborner Hof Natural history The Schönborner Hof in Wermbachstrasse has housed the city's natural history collections since 1970 with objects from local flora and fauna, a selection of exotic animals and plants as well as extensive geological and mineralogical finds from the Spessart region .

Museum of Jewish History and Culture Jewish culture The permanent exhibition on the history of the former Jewish community in Aschaffenburg has been in the former rabbinical house on Wolfsthalplatz in Traibgasse since 1983, ranging from the mention of the first Jewish synagogue in 1267 to the time of persecution under National Socialism.
Art Landing Contemporary art The Kunstlanding (spelling: KusntLANDing) in Landingstrasse has been showing changing exhibitions on international positions in contemporary art since 1998 on the initiative of the New Art Association Aschaffenburg eV.
Gentile house Art history In the former home of the industrialist and art collector Anton Gentil, there is a unique collection of paintings, medieval sculptures and altars, folk art, East Asian and modern art.

Kirchnerhaus Art by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner The Kirchnerhaus is the former birthplace of the artist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and has been operated as an exhibition center by the Kirchnerhaus Aschaffenburg eV association since 2013.
