Gunnhild Ruben

Gunnhild Ruben (born October 31, 1926 - † July 17, 2012 in Braunschweig ) was a German architect and local history researcher .

Life

Gunnhild Ruben was particularly involved in the Bauernhaus interest group , to which she had been a member since February 21, 1984. The foundation of the Southeast Lower Saxony branch of the interest group was based on their commitment . At about the same time she became local home nurse for the Braunschweig districts of Lehndorf and Kanzlerfeld , a position she held for over 24 years. She devoted herself to lectures and publications about the Braunschweig Landwehr and its towers and researched the building history of the Wichernkirche in Lehndorf. This research led to the much discussed book publication in 2004, in which she dealt with the peculiarities of the naturalization of Adolf Hitler .
