Gunter Presch

Gunter Presch (* 1939 in Arnstadt ; † 2020 ) was a German specialist in German.

Life

He studied German and history at the Universities of Frankfurt am Main , Marburg and at the Free University of Berlin . From 1970 to 1974 he was a research assistant at the Collaborative Research Center for Educational Research at the University of Konstanz . After completing his doctorate ( The sentence brackets in German. Syntactic description, decoding strategies ) at the University of Konstanz in 1974, he was an academic councilor at the Siegen University from 1974 to 1978 . From 1978 to 2004 he taught as professor for German linguistics at the University of Hamburg .

His focus is linguistic action in areas of conflict.
