Guo Zhendong ( Chinese  郭振东 , born August 4, 1984 in Shashi , Jingzhou , Hubei ) is a Chinese badminton player .

Career

Zhendong is regarded as a specialist in doubles , as this is the discipline where he got most of his successes. Together with Xie Zhongbo , he was also successful in men's doubles when they both won the Polish Open in 2004, the China Masters in 2005 , the Austrian International in 2007 and the 2008 India Open in 2008. 2nd place came out at the Macau Open 2008, 3rd place at the Hong Kong Open 2005 and 2006.

Guo Zhendong and Xie Zhongbo also took part in the 2008 Olympic Games , but were eliminated in round one.
