Gustaf Hedberg (actor)
Anders Gustaf Hedberg (born June 7, 1911 in Karlstad , Sweden , † April 5, 1957 ) was a Swedish film actor and singer . He was the younger brother of Zarah Leander .
Life
In the 1930s and 1940s, Gustaf Hedberg appeared as a singer and actor in amateur roles (Charmör) in various Swedish revues , including the 1937 Södrans revues at Södra Teatern in Stockholm , and from 1940 also at the Klangrevyn at the Folkets Hus Teater of the artistic director Ragnar Klang . For the record label Odeon he recorded several songs in 1936/1937. He also appeared in a number of Swedish films, mostly in supporting roles.
From 1945 to 1948 he directed the Boulevard Theater på Götgatan in Stockholm.
