Gustav Böhm (writer)

Gustav Böhm (born January 27, 1874 in Augsburg , † July 3, 1944 in Göggingen near Augsburg) was a Bavarian-Swabian lawyer and writer .

Gustav Böhm, the son of a well-known lawyer and jury defense attorney, attended the humanistic St. Stephans-Gymnasium in Augsburg and then studied law like his father. After completing his studies and obtaining a doctorate as a Dr. jur. he established himself as a lawyer in Göggingen near Augsburg. The literary oeuvre of Böhm, who is considered a modern romantic , is relatively narrow. In addition to short stories and two novels, he also published some lyrical works and was also present on the radio in the 1930s.
