Gustav Eder (politician)
Gustav Eder (born July 23, 1861 in Pottendorf , † July 7, 1909 in Linz ) was an Austrian politician.
Gustav Eder studied pharmacy at the University of Vienna and took over a pharmacy in Linz in 1889. In 1894 he was elected to the local council as a representative of the German national party . From 1900 to 1907 he was mayor of the Upper Austrian capital Linz. He was also a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag and a co-founder of the German People's Union .
