Gustav Fels

Gustav Fels (born February 23, 1842 in Köthen (Anhalt) ; † September 29, 1922 on Farm Ondekaremba near Windhoek , South West Africa ) was a German administrative lawyer.

After graduating from high school, he studied law at the University of Jena . In 1861 he became active in the Corps Thuringia Jena . From 1880 to 1884 he was mayor of Lehe , Province of Hanover . He died at the age of 80 on Farm Ondekaremba near Windhoek , the capital of today's Namibia .
