Gustav Hansen (politician)

Gustav Friedrich Julius Hansen (born September 28, 1831 in Wilster , † July 28, 1904 in Dresden ) was a German politician .

Life

Born the son of a deacon , Hansen studied theology and philosophy after attending grammar school in Wilster, and later law in Bonn , Berlin and Kiel . During his studies in 1849 he became a member of the Frankonia fraternity in Bonn . After completing his studies, he worked from 1864 to 1883 as a senior inspector in Lensahn , where he was responsible for the Holsteinisch-Oldenburg goods administration for entails. From 1877 to 1884 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives (constituency Oldenburg in Holstein) for the Free Conservative Party . He became a Grand Ducal Oldenburg Councilor and later a Privy Councilor . From 1883 to 1901 he was district administrator in the Tondern district . Most recently he lived in Dresden-Strehlen .
