Gustav Hirsch

Gustav Hirsch (born May 31, 1845 in Troppau , † May 2, 1907 in Graz ) was an Austrian politician .

Life

Born the son of a businessman, Hirsch studied law in Prague , Graz and Vienna after attending high school in Troppau . During his studies in 1865 he became a member of the Vienna fraternity Braune Arminia . In 1870 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . After his studies, he worked as a lawyer in Troppau and Graz . After an inheritance , he became a farmer in the Olbersdorf estate in Silesia . For the Silesian landowners he was elected to the Imperial Council in 1882 , where he belonged to the United Left . He was re-elected several times.
