Gustav Schreiber (politician)

Gustav Otto Franz Schreiber (born October 29, 1804 in Eilhausen , † March 10, 1872 in Arolsen ) was a German landowner and politician .

Schreiber was the son of District Administrator Daniel Schreiber and his wife Ernestine Christiane Friederike née Rohde. His first marriage was Emilie Marianne Mathilde Rhode on October 13, 1837 in Korbach. On December 4, 1840, he married the second wife of his first wife, Marianne Albertine Ottilie Rhode. The son Oskar Schreiber , who also became a member of parliament, comes from the second marriage .

Schreiber was a landowner in Billinghausen. In 1865 he sold the estate to the Barons von Zuydtwyck in Kemperfeld.

From 1852 to 1855 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency of the Twiste district.
