Oskar Schreiber (politician)

Oskar Schreiber (born July 15, 1844 in Billinghausen , † August 21, 1927 in Arolsen ) was a German rentier and politician .

Schreiber was the son of the landowner Gustav Schreiber and his second wife Marianne Albertine Ottilie nee Rhode. He married Sophie Pfeil on March 6, 1908 in Elbing. Before 1892 he was Rentier and General Secretary of the Agricultural Association. From 1892 to 1920 he was head of the Mild Foundations in Arolsen. 1911 to 1926 he was a deputy member of the commission for homeland affairs. In addition, he held many honorary positions in his home district.

From 1908 to 1914, like his father, he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency of the Twiste district.
