Mount Seddon is a 581 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises 30 km west of Mount Stinear on the northern flank of the Fisher Glacier . Its two peaks are separated from each other by an icy saddle .
Scientists from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) discovered it on a flight in 1957. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after Norman Richard Seddon (1911-1989), from 1957 managing director of the mineral oil company BP Australia , which supported the ANARE financially.
