Wigbert Gustav Sondergeld (born July 29, 1874 in Treischfeld , † September 1, 1937 in Hünfeld ) was a German teacher and politician ( center ).

Sondergeld studied philosophy and Catholic theology from 1894 and passed the theological exams in 1897/98. He was ordained a priest on December 18, 1897. From 1898 to 1900 he was chaplain and teacher at the Episcopal Latin School in Amöneburg and in 1900 passed the rector's examination for the management of schools with foreign language classes in Kassel. Between 1900 and 1901 he was the parish administrator in Unthought . When the city's Latin school was set up in Hünfeld, he became the rector there in 1901. On April 1, 1924, he was also head of the girls' secondary school in Hünfeld. On September 30, 1936, he was given early retirement.

Sondergeld was a member of the center and was district chairman of his party in the district of Hünfeld . From 1926 to 1933 he was a member of the Kassel Municipal Parliament and the Provincial Parliament of the Hesse-Nassau Province . This elected him from January 1930 to May 31, 1932 as a deputy and from May 31, 1932 to its dissolution as a full member of the Prussian State Council .

In 1909 he became a co-founder of the History and Local History Museum Association in Hünfeld. He was the caretaker for cultural and historical soil antiquities and confidante of the district curator for the Hünfeld district.
