Gustave Colin
Gustave Colin (born July 11, 1828 in Arras , † December 28, 1910 in Paris ) was a French impressionist painter .
Life
From 1847 Colin was a student of Constant Dutilleux , then moved to Paris around 1850 to continue his studies there. In 1853 he was accepted into the studio of the painter Thomas Couture , in which Anselm Feuerbach and Édouard Manet had also learned. Colin was first allowed to exhibit some of his works in the Paris Salon in 1857 .
