Gustave Pasquier (born October 7, 1877 in Saulces-Monclin , † April 6, 1965 in Rethel ) was a French cyclist .

Pasquier took part in cycling races between 1903 and 1910 . In 1903 he could have taken third place behind Hippolyte Aucouturier and Léon Georget in the classic Bordeaux – Paris . In the same year he started the first Tour de France . Pasquier finished the fifth stage of the tour in second behind Maurice Garin . In the overall ranking of the tour , the Frenchman finally finished eighth. In addition, Pasquier took part in the Tour de France in 1905 and 1910 ; he gave up during the third stage.

The participant in the 1903 Tour de France is often referred to as Arthur or Georges Pasquier. In 2003, based on an interview 42 years earlier, the daily newspaper Liberation confirmed Gustave as a participant.
