Gustavo Leonardo Cuéllar Gallego , called Gustavo Cuéllar , (born October 14, 1992 in Barranquilla ) is a Colombian football player . The player is used in the central, defensive midfield.

Career

Gustavo Cuéllar began his career in the youth department of the Deportivo Cali . In this, the player made the leap into the professional squad in 2009. In 2014 he was loaned to Atlético Junior , with whom he won the Copa Colombia 2015 .

At the beginning of the 2016 season, Cuéllar moved to Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . Here he played his first game for the club on February 17, 2016 in the Primeira Liga do Brasil 2016 . In the top Brazilian league Cuéllar made his debut on May 14, 2016 against Sport Recife .

Cuéllar left Flamengo at the end of August 2019. He switched to al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia) . The transfer fee was 7.5 million euros.
