Gustavo Adrián López Pablo (born April 13, 1973 in Valentín Alsina , Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

society

López began his professional career in 1991 at Independiente . In 1994 he was in the clausura with the team of Argentine champions. In 1994 and 1995 he won the Supercopa Sudamericana and in 1995 the Recopa Sudamericana .

In 1995 López moved to Spain to Real Saragossa . Here he was used frequently in the following four years and came to over a hundred games in the Primera División . In 1999 he moved to league competitor Celta Vigo . In 2001 he reached the final of the Spanish Cup with this team , which was lost 3-1 to Real Saragossa.

National team

Between 1994 and 2002 López was the Argentine international . The midfielder scored four goals in 35 games. He was part of the squad at several tournaments. So he was in the squad at the Copa America 1997 and 1999 and the 2002 World Cup , in which he was not used. He also played as a U23 youth at the 1996 Olympic Games , where he won the silver medal.
