history

Certificate for the elevation to the aristocratic estate

Until 1738, Claus Christian v. Thienen Landlord and owner of Bülcke and the Meierhöfe Eckhof and Ravensbek. In the centuries that followed, Neu-Bülk's change of ownership always took place through the sale of the property until 1931 .

In 1927 Neu-Bülk was sold to Schleswig-Holsteinische Höfebank GmbH , a settlement company that changed its name to Schleswig-Holsteinische Siedlungsgesellschaft in 1934. The Höfebank acquired Neu-Bülk on the basis of the Reich Settlement Act of 1919, which granted it the right of first refusal for all goods over 100 hectares in size up for sale. Neu-Bülk moved the courtyard bank; Most of the small settlement sites arose in the area of the former Ravensdorp. In this way, the former village now revived as a raven village. In 2001 Hartwig Rodde took over the estate.

The years of construction of the individual buildings could only be determined approximately in most cases. In addition to the ensemble of buildings on the courtyard side, there are two farm workers' houses not far away. When the village of Ravenstorp Neu-Bülk was closed, the village's six cottages also belonged to the estate. When Neu-Bülk was settled in 1927-30, they fell to the settlers' offices and have been houses in the new Rabendorf ever since.

Agricultural innovations

In the course of the advancing agricultural revolution , the rotary winnowing machine came to Neu-Bülk around the middle of the 19th century. Around 1920 horse-drawn mowers and the threshing machine were purchased and the need for labor fell noticeably. With the introduction of new industrial agricultural production methods , the motorization in connection with PTO-driven and hydraulic lifting devices for the attached tillage, sowing, care and harvesting machines, many work steps of the traditional form of agriculture became superfluous . As a result, the number of workers required eventually fell from 20 in the 1930s to two in 2000.

Around 1700 Ravensbek consisted of about 210 hectares of forest, fields, meadows and 20 quarries (break, Low German Brook: swampy place, alder vegetation, agriculturally unusable). At the beginning of the 18th century the area of the laid Ravensdorp was added. In addition to Gut Neu-Bülk, Heinrich Friedrich Janßen acquired a plot of land from Eckhof in 1828, so that Neu-Bülk now comprised 288.90 hectares, excluding gardens, bodies of water, paths and courtyard. When Bismarck introduced the cadastral office, the land register and the assignment of the lands to districts, Neu-Bülk was re-measured in 1874.

In 1927, the new owner, Schleswig-Holsteinische Höfebank GmbH, separated 93.94 hectares, relocated them to eleven settler sites and branched off roads from Neu-Bülk, which they transferred to the large community of Schilksee and the Eckernförde district. In 1931 Carl-Albrecht Rodde bought the rest of the farm, with its remaining 196.01 hectares, which he handed over to his eldest son in 1935. He left his second oldest son, Carl Albrecht Rodde, from Alt-Bülk as part of his preferred inheritance 85.40 hectares, which border the lands of Neu-Bülk. Neu-Bülk expanded to 281.42 hectares. After a few small changes, swaps, taxes for road construction and some corrections, the total area in 1994 was over 280 hectares according to the cadastre.

Temporary privileges as a noble estate

At the beginning of the settlement, Bülcke belonged to the parish Slabbenhagen, today Dänischenhagen, which was responsible for public administration including civil status. Then the authorities transferred public administration, including lower jurisdiction, to the Bülcke estate. Civil status remained in the hands of the parish. This declared the estate to be the lower state administrative unit, and it received the official designation " noble estate ". The respective owner (later also commoners) had to perform all administrative tasks by virtue of their office as head of administration in the area of the "noble property". This included keeping the debt and pawn book, in which all civil legal transactions of public interest, the purchase and sale of goods, farms, individual properties, houses and mortgages and their repayment etc. had to be entered. Eckhof and Neu-Bülk were later also given the status of "noble property". It remained that way until Bismarck's laws on municipal reform from 1868, which released the noble estates from their administrative duties.

Laying hens, geese, ducks, pigs, sheep, pigeons and bees were kept on Neu-Bülk for the self-sufficiency of the manor household. Today there are six to ten sheep and three geese as hobby animals.
