The Gutshaus Büttnershof is a manor in the Büttnershof district in the Altmark in Saxony-Anhalt , which belongs to the municipality of Iden, and belonged to the Büttnershof manor .

history

The history of the estate itself goes back to the 15th century. Until the 17th century, the estate was owned by von Stolting. Around 1700, Christian Büttner acquired the estate from which the name goes back. Later owners were the Gansauge and von Lucke families . After the manor owner Rudolf Wilhelm von Lucke married into the von Katte family, the property was also referred to as von Katte von Lucke.

The half-timbered part of today's manor house was built in 1750. In 1895 two wings were added. The manor house is surrounded by several 19th century farm buildings. In the course of the land reform in the Soviet occupation zone , the property with 431.5 hectares was expropriated and divided among the landless and poor population. After the political change, the building was sold to a private person in 1992 and renovated. The 3.5 hectare manor park surrounding the manor buildings  was also brought into a well-tended condition. The house is used as a catering and accommodation facility.
