history

The place was formerly known as Alt-Käcklitz or Gut Käcklitz II or Liberut Büttnershof.

In 1441, kokelitz was mentioned in a document when Elector Friedrich enfeoffed the von Stolzing brothers with properties that remained with the Stölting family (Stolczinge, Stoltinge) until after 1686 and before 1689 to 1693 went to the von Kannenberg zu Krumke family. From 1693 to 1775 Büttner owned two farms with all accessories and lands. In 1721 they were called Büttners Höfe . In 1804, Büttnershof was a Freihof that belonged to Käcklitz . In 1820 Büdnershof (Büttnershof, also Alt-Käcklitz) was a noble estate. In 1843 Büttnershof , also called Alt-Käcklitz, consisted of two free courtyards. After several changes of ownership, Bittnershof came to the landowner Lucke from 1839 to 1874, and in 1861 as ennobled by Lucke . From 1874 to 1945 the dike captain von Lucke and his adopted son, from 1915 von Lucke-von Katte, owned the manor.

In the course of the land reform , the property with 430 hectares was expropriated and divided. Of this, 200 hectares went to the land fund. In 1948 the land reform in Sandauerholz and Büttnershof together resulted in 54 full settlers each over 5 hectares, 12 small settlers each receiving less than 5 hectares of land. In 1953 the first type III agricultural production cooperative, the LPG “Freier Wille”, was established.

Incorporations

Büttnershof belonged to Käcklitz until 1871, and from 1885 at the latest to Germerslage. When the estate district of Germerslage was merged with the rural community of Sandauerholz on September 30, 1928, Büttnershof became part of Sandauerholz. In 1930 it was approved that the Gutshof Büttnershof and the buildings belonging to it may be called Sandauerholz (Büttnershof) . In 1931 and afterwards, however, the place is listed as Büttnershof in directories. It was not until 1986 that Büttnershof was mentioned as a district .

With the incorporation of Sandauerholz on July 1, 2009 to Iden, the district became part of the municipality of Iden.
