The Guttorm Jakobsenbukta ( Norwegian ) is an ice harbor on the Princess Martha coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the westernmost bay of the Ekström Ice Shelf and lies on the north side of the Auståsen .
The bay is named after Guttorm Jakobsen (1911-1995), captain of the MV Norsel in the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949-1952) and the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956-1960).
