Guy Lengagne

Guy Lengagne (born July 11, 1933 in Boulogne-sur-Mer , Département Pas-de-Calais ) is a French university professor and politician of the Parti socialiste (PS) who was a member of the National Assembly (Assemblée nationale) and State Secretary. He was also mayor of Boulogne-sur-Mer from 1977 to 1989 and again from 1996 to 2002 .

Life

Guy Lengagne, who was professor of mathematics at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens , began his political career for the Parti socialiste (PS) in local politics and was initially a member between March 22, 1971 and March 20, 1977 of the City Council of Boulogne-sur-Mer . He was then from March 21, 1977 to March 19, 1989 for the first time mayor of Boulogne-sur-Mer. He was also from March 19, 1979 to March 17, 1985 Vice President of the General Council of the Pas-de-Calais department .
