Masato Yamazaki ( Japanese 山 﨑 雅人 Yamazaki Masato ; born December 4, 1981 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Yamazaki learned to play soccer on the school team at Kumiyama High School and the college team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract in 2004 with the Yokohama F. Marinos . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champion in 2004 . For the club, he completed 15 first division games. In August 2005 he moved to league rivals Ōita Trinita . For the club he completed 61 first division games. In 2008 he moved to league rivals Gamba Osaka . In 2008 he won the AFC Champions League with the club . For the club, he completed 53 top division games. In 2010 he moved to league rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima . For the club he completed 33 first division games. In July 2011, he moved to league rivals Montedio Yamagata . At the end of the 2011 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . At the end of the 2014 season, the club rose again to the J1 League. For the club he completed 133 league games. In 2016 he moved to the second division branch Kanazawa .
