In his second season he came less to the train and at the end of the season had only nine missions in which he could not score. In the 2006/07 season Moussi was able to conquer a regular place and maintained this until the end of the season. However, he failed to score in 32 appearances. Nottingham Forest

In July 2008 Moussi signed a three-year contract with the English second division club Nottingham Forest . In his first season in the Football League Championship in 2008/09 , the Frenchman only made 15 appearances as an injury kept him away from the game for a long time. In the 2009/10 season Moussi was able to contribute better after surviving an injury period. On October 20, he scored his first goal against FC Barnsley in front of 20,395 spectators at his home City Ground . Moussi scored the goal in the 93rd minute and celebrated the winning goal to make it 1-0 so exuberant that the referee showed the 24-year-old the second yellow card and sent him off the field. In total, he completed 27 league games and scored three goals. At the end of the season he reached a third place in the table with his team and narrowly missed promotion to the Premier League after failing in the play-off semi-final against Blackpool FC . Forest also made it into the play-off semi-finals in the 2010/11 season , but the meanwhile injured Guy Moussi (31 games) and his team failed again prematurely at Swansea City . After his contract expired on July 1, 2011, he decided against the offers of other clubs and signed a new three-year contract on July 19, 2011.

On November 14, 2013 Guy Moussi moved to Millwall FC on loan .
