Guy Saint-Jean , also known as Guy St. Jean ( September 24, 1923 , † June 16, 2000 ) was a French actor.

Life

A busy theater actor since 1949, Guy Saint-Jean began his television career in 1960. His cinema debut followed in 1964 alongside Anna Gaylor and Charles Denner in Alain Jessua's The Reverse Life . Guy Saint-Jean often plays alongside Gaylor. As her husband in the TV series Les oiseaux rares , he experienced a surge in popularity at the end of the 1960s. As father Massonneau struggling for authority, he had to compete with his full-fledged daughters, including Claude Jade and Dominique Labourier , and repeatedly give in.

In the cinema, often in Alain Jessua's films , and on television, he played good-natured men from the bourgeoisie in supporting roles.

Besides Gaylor, his most frequent film partner was the actress Nicole Gueden , with whom he was married.
