Gwen Wallace

Gwen Wallace (born August 10, 1935 ) is a former Australian hurdler and long jumper , who was also used in the 4 x 100 meter relay because of her sprint strength .

At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver in 1954 she was seventh in the long jump, eliminated over 80 m hurdles in the preliminary run and won gold with the Australian team in the 4-by-110-yard relay.

In 1954 she was Australian champion over 80 m hurdles.
