György Korsós [ ˈɟørɟ ˈkorʃoːʃ ] (born August 22, 1976 in Győr , Hungary ) is a Hungarian football player .

Career

György Korsós first played for Rába ETO Győr until 1999 , before the midfielder went to Austria and played for SK Sturm Graz until 2004 and then SK Rapid Vienna until 2006. His greatest success with the team was winning the Austrian championship in 2004/05 . In 2006 he moved to Greece to Skoda Xanthi . After a year with the Greeks, Korsos was without a club for a year before he signed a contract with the Austria Amateurs , which he in turn left in the summer of 2009 after the contract ended. Until the summer of 2010 he was under contract with SV Stegersbach (Burgenland League). He is currently working for SV Wimpassing (Burgenland), where he and his family also want to settle down at home. After years of abstinence, he and a local team and other returnees are supposed to fix the promotion to the 1st class again and climb the championship title.

György Korsós also completed 33 international matches for Hungary during this time and scored one goal.
