György Luntzer 1906

György Luntzer (born August 23, 1886 in Bratislava , † 1942 in Transylvania ) was a Hungarian athlete and wrestler .

At the Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens in 1906 , he was fifth in the discus throw (Greek style) and tenth in the pentathlon . In the discus throw (free style) he did not make it into the top five, in the javelin throw (free style) he did not make it into the top eleven. At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he was seventh in the discus throw. Both in the discus throw (Greek style) and in the javelin throw (free style) he was eliminated in the preliminary round. In 1912 in Stockholm he finished 21st in the discus throw. In the two-handed discus throw, he failed to make a valid attempt with his left hand.

In 1908 in London he retired from the Greco-Roman wrestling light heavyweight division in the first round.

In 1908, 1912 and 1915 he was national champion in discus throw.
