Josef Klenner
Josef Konrad Klenner (born December 4, 1949 in Wadersloh ) is a German sports official and graduate engineer from Westphalia.
Life
Josef Klenner was chairman of the Beckum section in the DAV for twelve years until the end of his electoral term in February 1992. His brother Willi Klenner was chosen as his successor. From 1992 to 2005 he was President of the German Alpine Club (DAV) and has been again since October 2010.
From 2004 to 2011 he was also President of the European Club Arc Alpin .
Honors
- 2011: Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany for his voluntary work for the benefit of the Alpine Club
