Gyasi Cline-Heard

Gyasi Cline-Heard (born August 19, 1979 in Phoenix , Texas ) is a retired American basketball player .

The son of the former NBA player and trainer Gar Heard plays in the basketball league for Telekom Baskets Bonn in the 2006/2007 season . He was signed for the injured Tyray Pearson shortly before the start of the season. In the 2005/2006 season he played for Tofas Bursa in Turkey. The 2.02 m tall and 113 kg heavy forward also played in Australia, Uruguay, Finland and Belgium. Gyasi Cline-Heard returned to Turkey for the 2007/2008 season. He signed a one-year contract with Darussafaka Istanbul . After his time in Istanbul, Cline-Heard moved to South Korea to the INCHONT Land Elephants. His last stop was the Seoul SK Knights.

Private

After the end of his active career, Cline-Heard opened a tattoo parlor in Palm Harbor . In March 2012, Cline-Heard and his partner were arrested by local police during a raid. Various weapons were confiscated during the raid and it was found that Cline-Heard was involved in illegal arms deals across the country.

In November 2012 he was sentenced to 16 years in prison for these offenses.
