Gyelse Shenphen Thaye ( Tib. Rgyal sras gzhan phan mtha 'yas ; * 1800 ; † 1869 or 1870), the 1st Dzogchen Gemang ( rdzogs chen dge Mang ) Rinpoche was a Tibetan Dzogchen -Master. He was the founder of the Shri Singha Shedra of Dzogchen Monastery , one of the most important centers for Nyingma study. Among other things, he is the author of the commentary "Trulgyi Demig" ( 'phrul gyi lde mig "magic key") to Thonmi Sambhota's two extant treatises on Tibetan grammar: sum cu pa ("thirty verses") and rtags kyi' jug pa , der a component of the Nyingma Shedra - curriculum forms.
