David Poljanec (born November 27, 1986 ) is a Slovenian football player .

Career

After Poljanec had played for clubs in Slovenia in his youth, he went to FC St. Nikolai im Sausal in 2006. From there he moved a year later to SV Gleinstätten , with whom he was promoted to the Middle Regional Football League in 2010. In the next season he had a significant share in staying up with 15 goals. In the summer of 2011 he went to FC Blau-Weiß Linz , which had just been promoted to the second-class first division . In 2011/12 he was the top scorer in the first division with 19 goals. In the summer of 2012, he moved to SC Paderborn 07 on a free transfer . There his contract was terminated prematurely at the end of January 2013 after only one deployment.
