Markus Pink (born February 24, 1991 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
The striker began his career at FC Ochsendorf in Carinthia . In 2005 he was brought on loan and a year later as a fixed commitment from FC Kärnten to the youth team. In 2007 he moved to the youth department of SK Austria Kärnten .
In 2008 he was taken over into the amateur squad, after twelve games and three goals, he joined the Bundesliga team in 2008. The striker made his debut in the top Austrian division on April 5, 2009 against SK Rapid Wien . He came on in the 69th minute for Wolfgang Mair . The game ended 2-4.
After Austria went bankrupt, he moved to the regional league for SK Austria Klagenfurt in 2010 . There he played 24 games and scored three goals. In the summer of 2011 there was a further step down in the Carinthian regional league to ASKÖ Köttmannsdorf .
In summer 2012 he dared to try again in professional football when he moved to First Vienna FC in the First League . There he made a significant contribution to staying up. After his coach Alfred Tatar moved to Bundesliga relegated SV Mattersburg in the summer of 2013 and goalgetter Patrick Bürger was out there due to a torn cruciate ligament, his ex-coach brought him to the Burgenland for the 2013 summer transfer period.
For the 2018/19 season he moved to SK Sturm Graz , where he received a contract that ran until June 2020. After 32 Bundesliga games for Sturm, he moved to league rivals FC Admira Wacker Mödling in January 2020 . By the end of the season he made ten Bundesliga appearances for the Lower Austrians. For the 2020/21 season he returned to the meanwhile second-rate Austria Klagenfurt, where he received a contract that ran until June 2023.
