Diego Sehnem Viana (born May 5, 1983 in Feliz , Brazil ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .
Career
Diego Viana began his professional career at Avaí FC, a Brazilian football club from Florianópolis in Santa Catarina .
In 2004 he came to Atlético Metropolitano, from where he was awarded first to Denmark to Esbjerg fB and then to Austria to FC Lustenau 07 . After 38 goals in 30 games for Lustenau, several higher-class clubs noticed him and he moved to Germany to Greuther Fürth . In the spring of 2007 there was a six-month interlude at the Vienna sports club before he moved to SV Grödig.
In 2009 after the top scorer and relegation from the first division, Viana moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga for the 2009/10 season FC Magna Wiener Neustadt . At Magna he mostly took on the role on the bench and was only used sporadically.
After Frank Stronach left Wr. Neustadt announced, Diego moved back to Salzburg for SV Grödig. In June 2012 he moved to Brazil to the Associação Portuguesa de Desportos , where he made his debut at the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol against FC São Paulo .
