Patrick Bürger (born June 27, 1987 in Oberwart ) is an Austrian football player in the position of a striker .

Career

Patrick Bürger's first club was SC Bad Tatzmannsdorf in the lower Burgenland leagues. Bürger, who is considered one of the greatest talents in the easternmost federal state, moved from Bad Tatzmannsdorf to BNZ Burgenland. In 2004 he moved directly from the federal youth center to the Austrian Bundesliga at SV Mattersburg. His position is that of the striker. In 2008 he moved to TSV Hartberg . In the 2009/10 season he was elected top scorer in the second Austrian league and the best player of the season. With the beginning of the 2010/11 season he moved back to SV Mattersburg. The club stopped playing after the 2019/20 season.

He then moved to the second division club SV Lafnitz for the 2020/21 season .
