Lucas Wabnig (born August 14, 1995 in Hartberg ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper .

Career

Wabnig began his career at SCU Rabenwald . In 2007 he joined the youth team at TSV Hartberg . In 2009 he moved to Kapfenberger SV . From 2012 he played for the third team of KSV, Rapid Kapfenberg .

For the 2013/14 season he returned to the second division Hartberg. For the Hartberger, he was not used that season. For the 2014/15 season he joined the regional league club SV Lafnitz . In October 2014, he made his debut in the Regionalliga when he came on on the twelfth match day of that season against Union Vöcklamarkt in the 77th minute for Michael Kölbl after goalkeeper Dávid Dombó had been sent off.

After four seasons in the regional league with Lafnitz, Wabnig rose to the second league with the club in 2018 . In October 2018, he made his debut in the second-highest division when he was in the starting line-up against FC Liefering on matchday ten of the 2018/19 season.
