Christoph Gschiel (born December 26, 1990 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Gschiel began his career at SV Ilz . In 2005 he came to the Academy of the Grazer AK . From 2008 he played for the second team of the GAK in the regional league . In March 2010 he made his debut for the first team of Graz in the Regionalliga when he was in the starting line-up against USV Allerheiligen on matchday 16 of the 2009/10 season . He scored his first goal in the Regionalliga in June 2010 in a 7-0 win against FC St. Veit .

For the 2011/12 season he moved to the fourth-class SC Kalsdorf . With Kalsdorf he rose to the end of the season in the regional league. In that season he completed 29 games in the national league, in which he was able to score six goals.

In January 2013 he joined the fourth class SV Lafnitz . With Lafnitz he rose to the regional league in the same year. He played with the club for five seasons in the regional league before being promoted to the second division in 2018 . In the 2017/18 promotion season, he played 26 games in the regional league, in which he remained without a goal.

He made his debut in the second division in July 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against WSG Wattens on matchday one of the 2018/19 season.

His brother Markus (* 1993) is also a soccer player.
