Philipp Siegl (born December 16, 1993 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Siegl began his career at ASKÖ Stinatz . In 2007 he came to AKA Burgenland . In March 2009 he moved to TSV Hartberg , for which he was used by the amateurs from the 2009/10 season.

In January 2011 he returned to ASKÖ Stinatz. In 2012 he moved to the third class amateurs of SV Mattersburg . He made his debut for Mattersburg II in the Regionalliga in August 2012 when he came on as a substitute for Alexander Taschner on the first match day of the 2012/13 season against the Wiener Sportklub in the 78th minute .

For the 2013/14 season he moved to league competitor SV Stegersbach . In summer 2014 he joined SV Lafnitz . After 20 regional league games for Lafnitz, he switched to league competitor TSV Hartberg for the 2015/16 season .

With Hartberg, he was promoted to professional football as the champion of the Middle Regional League in 2017. He made his debut in the second division in August 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Jürgen Heil on the fifth match day of the 2017/18 season against FC Liefering in the 72nd minute . With Hartberg he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2018 . After promotion, he scored the winning goal to 2-1 with a rebound volleyball and thus his first Bundesliga goal on September 15, 2018 with a score of 1: 1 against SCR Altach on the seventh game day in the 92nd minute of the game.

He left Hartberg after the 2018/19 season. After more than two months without a club, he moved to the second division club SV Horn in September 2019 . For the 2020/21 season he returned to league rivals SV Lafnitz.

His brother Daniel (* 1988) is also a soccer player.
