Martin Rodler (born February 24, 1989 ) is an Austrian football player . From 2011 to the end of 2013 he was under contract with the Austrian Erste Liga club SV Mattersburg . Then he moved back to his home in Styria for SV Lafnitz .

Career

Rodler began playing soccer at the lower class USV Hartberg Umgebung when he was seven years old , where he went through the various age groups. At the age of 15 he played for the first time the club's combat team, in which he was able to record five missions.

When he became aware of this, he switched to the second highest performance level, the first league , at TSV Hartberg in July 2006 . There he only made five appearances for Hartberg, but after the relegation of TSV Hartberg to the Regionalliga Mitte he became a regular player and made 16 appearances in the 2007/08 season in which he scored two goals. In the 2008/09 season , Rodler was instrumental in the championship title and promotion to the first division with 17 missions and three goals.

On April 16, 2010, the 1.91-meter-tall central defender scored his first championship goal in the professional team in the 2-0 home win of TSV Hartberg against FC Dornbirn . In the summer of 2011 Rodler moved to the Bundesliga club SV Mattersburg . With the Burgenländer he had to start the second class in 2013. In January 2014 Rodler moved to the regional league club SV Lafnitz . With Lafnitz he was promoted to the 2nd division as champion of the Regionalliga Mitte in 2017/18.
