Matthias Puschl (born June 9, 1996 in Graz ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Puschl started his career at USV Pircha . In 2008 he switched to the youth team at SC Gleisdorf 1919 , which was renamed FC Gleisdorf 09 after a merger in 2009 . In 2012 he came to AKA Burgenland , where he played until 2013.

From 2013 he was used for his home club SV Oberwart . In May 2013 he made his debut for Oberwart in the regional league when he came on as a substitute for Thomas Herrklotz on matchday 27 of the 2012/13 season against 1. Simmeringer SC in the 75th minute. In October 2013 Puschl scored his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw against the amateurs of SK Rapid Wien . In 2014 he had to relegate with Oberwart from the regional league.

In January 2015 he moved to TSV Hartberg , where he was only used for the second team in the fifth-class league . For the 2016/17 season he returned to his youth club FC Gleisdorf 09. In his two years at Gleisdorf, he played 43 games in the Regionalliga and scored nine goals.

For the 2018/19 season he joined the second division team Kapfenberger SV . He made his debut in the second division in July 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against the second team of FK Austria Wien on the first day of that season . In the game that Kapfenberg won 3-0, Puschl scored two goals.

For the 2019/20 season he switched to Bundesliga club SCR Altach , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021. After three appearances in the Bundesliga for Altach, he terminated his contract in January 2020 and moved to the second division club SV Lafnitz .
