Fabio Markelic (born August 9, 2001 in Villach ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Markelic started his career at SC Reichenau / Falkert . For the 2015/16 season he switched to the academy of Wolfsberger AC , where he went through all age groups from then on. In June 2019 he made his debut for the amateurs of the WAC in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Fabian Neuhold on matchday 30 of the 2018/19 season against Deutschlandsberger SC in the half-time break.
For the 2019/20 season he moved to the second division SK Austria Klagenfurt , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021. He made his debut in the 2nd division in July 2019 when he came on as a substitute for Philipp Hütter on the first day of that season against SV Ried in the 77th minute .
