history

Today's WAC amateurs rose in the 2007/08 season as WAC / St. Andrä II joins the Carinthian League . The second team of the syndicate of Wolfsberger AC and SK St. Andrä took the place of Wolfsberger in the regional league, while the first team of the syndicate took the place of St. Andrä in the Regionalliga Mitte . In the 2007/08 season, the team finished sixth in the Carinthian league.

In the 2008/09 season, the syndicate was again sixth in the fourth-highest division. In the 2009/10 season, the team finished tenth in the table. In the 2010/11 season they finished twelfth and had only two points ahead of the relegation ranks. Relegation was only fixed on the last day of the match with a 3-1 win against SG Drautal . In the 2011/12 season, the team was tenth again. After the 2011/12 season St. Andrä and Wolfsberg ended their cooperation, the second team was now retained as Wolfsberger AC II of the Carinthian League. In the 2012/13 season, the WAC Amateurs were champions with a 15-point lead over their city rivals ATSV Wolfsberg and were promoted to the Middle Regional League.

In the debut season in the third-highest division, the Carinthians were 14th and had a point ahead of the relegation ranks. As in the national league in the 2010/11 season, the Wolfsberger fixed relegation only on the final day with a 2: 1 win against Union St. Florian while prosecutors Villacher SV the LASK lost. In the 2014/15 season, the WAC amateurs finished tenth and had nothing to do with relegation. In the 2015/16 season they finished 14th for a second time, but this meant relegation to the Carinthian League this season. The WAC amateurs were three points short of the saving bank. In the Carinthian League, however, they only spent one season, as in the 2016/17 season they were able to climb back into the regional league as champions with ten points ahead of SAK Klagenfurt .

In the 2017/18 season they finished twelfth and were not threatened with relegation throughout the season. In the 2018/19 season, he achieved a single-digit table placement for the first time with eighth place.
