The Turn- und Sportunion Bad Gleichenberg is a football club from Bad Gleichenberg in Styria . The club has been playing in the third highest performance level, the Regionalliga Mitte , since the 2017/18 season .
history
TuS Bad Gleichenberg was founded in 1933 as FC Bad Gleichenberg . In 1946 the FC joined the Styrian Football Association and in 1952 the Sportunion and renamed itself TuS Bad Gleichenberg .
After playing in the lower class for a long time, in 2001 you could move up from the 1st class to the regional league and in 2003 to the lower division . In 2005, he was promoted to the fifth-class league .
After several placings in the middle of the league you could in 2015 with four points lead over TSV Pöllau in the division to rise. After finishing the debut season in 7th place, in 2017 they became champion ahead of ASK Voitsberg and were able to secure promotion to the third-class regional league .
