Thorsten Mahrer (born January 22, 1990 ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Mahrer started his career at WSV Oed / Waldegg . In 1999 he switched to the youth team at SK Rapid Vienna . In 2008 he moved to SV Mattersburg . However, he did not make his professional debut until matchday 30, 2013/14 against Kapfenberger SV . After promotion to the Bundesliga in 2015, he made his Bundesliga debut on matchday 1 in 2015/16 against FC Red Bull Salzburg . The club stopped playing after the 2019/20 season.
He then moved to the second division SK Austria Klagenfurt for the 2020/21 season , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2023.
