Maximiliano Moreira , full name Maximiliano Moreira Romero , (born June 11, 1994 in Maldonado ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.70 meter tall defensive player Moreira was in the 2013 Clausura in the first division squad of Nacional Montevideo . In that half series three appearances (no goal) in the Primera División are recorded for him. He also came into play in an encounter (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores . In the 2013/14 season he was on loan at the Apertura at Club Atlético Rentistas . There he completed no further game after his league debut there on September 15, 2013 against Cerro . For Clausura 2014 he then joined the first division club Juventud again on loan . The loan conditions contained, among other things, the clause that he could not be used in the matches against Nacional Montevideo. By the end of the season, he ran in eight first division games for the club from Las Piedras . For the 2014/15 season he returned to Nacional. In the Apertura 2014 there was no further first division appearance with the "Bolsos". In mid-January 2015, he joined the league competitor Club Atlético Atenas on loan . There he was not used in the top Uruguayan league until the end of the 2014/15 season. No management affiliations are recorded for the following period. In 2017 he moved from Nacional Montevideo to the second division Huracán Football Club , where he played 25 second division games in which he scored three goals in the 2017 season.

In 2018 he returned to Club Atlético Rentistas. For the club, he was used in six second division games. In summer 2018 he moved to the Austrian second division team SK Austria Klagenfurt .

National team

Moreira made his debut on October 28, 2008 under coach Fabián Coito at Torneo Val de Marne in the game against France in the Uruguayan U-15 national team. With the selection, in which he completed a total of 22 international matches (one goal), he took part in the 2009 U-15 South American Championship held in Bolivia . He was also a member of the U-17 in his home country . There he played 40 international matches (two goals) from his debut on June 23, 2010 in a 2-1 victory during the Torneo Diario La Voz del Interior against the Chilean team. He was a member of Uruguay's squad at the 2011 U-17 South American Championship in Ecuador and the 2011 U-17 World Cup in Mexico . At the World Cup he played in six tournament games, scored one goal and became vice world champion. Moreira made his debut on June 6, 2012 in the U-20 national team of Uruguay, which was coached by Juan Verzeri , in the friendly game against the United States that was won 4-2. He was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-20 team at the U-20 South American Championship in Argentina in 2013 and played two games (no goal) during the tournament. So far (as of November 16, 2013) he has completed eleven international matches (no goal) in this age group.
