The U-17 soccer World Grand Prix 2011 took place from 12 March 2011 to 9 April 2011 in Ecuador instead.
The top four after the tournament selection teams qualified for the U-17 World Cup in 2011 in Mexico and for in Guadalajara discharged Pan American Games in 2011 .
The matches to determine the tournament winner were held in the cities of Latacunga , Ambato , Riobamba , Ibarra and Quito . The game was played in two groups, followed by a final phase, also in group mode. The national teams of Argentina , Bolivia , Brazil , Chile , Ecuador , Colombia , Paraguay , Peru , Uruguay and Venezuela took part in the tournament. From the event, the U-17 of Brazil emerged as the winner. Places two to four went to the national teams from Uruguay, Argentina and Ecuador.
