The U-17 soccer World Grand Prix 2011 took place from 12 March 2011 to 9 April 2011 in Ecuador instead.
The top four after the tournament selection teams qualified for the U-17 World Cup in 2011 in Mexico and for in Guadalajara discharged Pan American Games in 2011 .
The matches to determine the tournament winner were held in the cities of Latacunga , Ambato , Riobamba , Ibarra and Quito . The game was played in two groups, followed by a final phase, also in group mode. The national teams of Argentina , Bolivia , Brazil , Chile , Ecuador , Colombia , Paraguay , Peru , Uruguay and Venezuela took part in the tournament. From the event, the U-17 of Brazil emerged as the winner. Places two to four went to the national teams from Uruguay, Argentina and Ecuador. The tournament's top scorer was Uruguayan Juan Cruz Mascia with six goals scored .
